AI automation for small and mid-sized businesses

Most businesses do not need a big AI programme. They need the two or three boring workflows that eat the week to run themselves. I find them with you, then build them.

Where AI automation pays off first

  • Answering the same customer questions on WhatsApp or email
  • Following up on leads and quotations
  • Drafting quotes, invoices and reports from messy inputs
  • Reminders for payments, appointments and instalments
  • Collecting reviews after a sale
  • Reading documents such as orders and forms into your spreadsheets
  • Daily and weekly summaries for owners

How I find the right three

We start with a free consultation where we walk through a normal week in your business. I score each task on hours saved, risk and ease. You get a written plan with three automation opportunities, what each would do and an estimate of what it would cost to build.

What I will tell you not to automate

Sometimes the right answer is an existing tool configured well, and I will say so. When nothing off the shelf fits, I build a small custom agent or integration.

  • Moving money without a human approving it
  • Decisions that depend on judgment or an ongoing relationship
  • Anything a spreadsheet formula or a feature of your current software already does

Frequently asked questions

What is AI automation?

AI automation uses AI models to handle tasks that used to need a person to read, understand and decide, such as replying to customer messages, drafting quotes or summarising reports. Unlike old rule-based automation, it copes with free-form text, documents and messy input.

Is AI automation affordable for a small business?

Often yes, because the best first automation is small and specific. A single workflow, such as replying to WhatsApp enquiries, can be built and tested quickly. The free consultation shows what is worth doing and what it would cost.

Do I need to change my software?

Usually not. Automations connect to what you already use: spreadsheets, email, WhatsApp, your CRM or accounting tool. If a tool has no way to connect, we look at alternatives together.

Will AI automation replace my staff?

The aim is to take repetitive work off your team so they can spend time on customers and decisions. People stay in charge: the automation hands exceptions and anything risky to a person.

How is this different from an AI automation agency?

I work independently. You talk directly to the person who maps your workflows and builds the automation, with no sales layer and no handoffs. The trade-off is capacity: I take a limited number of projects at a time.

Tell me what eats your week.

My intake agent asks a few quick questions and puts your brief in front of me. I read every one.
